Life Legacy
Kenneth “Bill” Griffin, 56, of Franklin, passed away on Friday, January 6, 2012. He was born on October 29, 1955 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Charles Robert Griffin and Mary Marie Griffin.
Bill served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from Ford Automotive Company in 2005. Bill was a member of Victory Baptist Church. Survivors include his loving wife of 36 years, June A Griffin; his children, Colette A. Griffin, Monica R. Griffin, Shandi L. Donald; sister, Debbie NcNear; brother, Michael Griffin. His son, Kenny Griffin, and brother, Robert “Guy” Griffin, preceded him in death.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, January 9 at G. H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home, 1605 South State Road 135 and Olive Branch Road. Funeral Service will be conducted at 1 p.m. with additional calling there from 10 am. until service time. He will be laid to rest at The Gardens at Olive Branch Cemetery, where military graveside rites will be conducted. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.ghherrmann.com
